At Warrior Style, we create Warriors inside and outside of the gym. Fast, effective and fun, the workout is challenging, both physically and mentally. Warriors learn the techniques fighters use in the ring while getting in shape. Whether in a group class or one-on-one, Warrior Style training will keep you on your toes and inspire you to always be better, stronger, faster.
Anyone with the will and drive can become a Warrior.
The signature class is a small-group session, which combines boxing, resistance training, core strength, plyometrics, and cardiovascular endurance.
Warrior training begins with a short warm up, followed by technical movement drills and shadowboxing to perfect form. This mobilizes every muscle and gets the body to move freely from head to toe. The workout shifts to body-weight strength training, partner drills and pad work. Warrior training ends with a cool-down, rooted in elements of Yoga and Pilates, ensuring the gradual recovery of the body to pre-exercise heart rate and blood pressure.
A high intensity hour with many physical and mental benefits, including: greater cardiovascular capacity, decreased body fat, reduced stress, increased focus, increased full-body coordination and muscle tone, improved bone and ligament health. Warrior Style’s unique fusion of training modalities produces a strong, lean physique, and develops agility and resilience in the body, increasing mobility and reducing the risk of injury.
THE PRIVATE WORKOUT
Warrior Style offers private and semi-private sessions with a focus on Muay Thai and boxing
Single sessions blend shadowboxing and pad work with strength training and cardiovascular conditioning. Sessions are designed to benefit students of all levels, whether you are a beginner or a professional athlete. New Warriors learn the basic movements required for shadowing and pad work. Advanced Warriors will have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one and/or group sparring. Warrior Style training creates an environment as close as possible to being in the ring.
FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE WARRIOR STYLE FIGHTING EXPERIENCE, WE OFFER MORE TRADITIONAL PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS.
Each session is tailored to the student’s needs, goals, and limitations, if any exist. The workout will include a combination of mobility and stability drills, metabolic conditioning, strength, power, and high intensity interval training. There is an emphasis on proper biomechanics and self-myofascial release to prevent injury and ensure pain-free movement.
Khaled's love of martial arts began at a very young age.
Growing up in Lebanon during times of civil unrest, when running around outside wasn't always an option, Bruce Lee movies and Tae Kwon Do were effective outlets to release some of his 10-year-old energy. As he grew, so did his interest in martial arts, expanding to include Western Boxing and Muay Thai.
In 2001, Khaled moved to New York City
He worked retail by day and trained in mixed martial arts by night – eventually becoming an amateur Muay Thai fighter. He soon realized that martial arts and fitness could be his career and he decided to turn his passion into his profession.
Khaled became certified as a personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and over time has added certifications in SFG, Precision Nutrition, Pilates and more. Today, his expertise is diverse and his training methods reflect this diversity.
Khaled combines functional training, traditional strength training, cardio, martial arts, and nutrition, allowing the body to perform daily activities with ease, fluidity, strength, and confidence. His motto: sweat is earned from preparation, thought, action and intensity.
